In her paintings we see interiors and deserts, which according to her symbolize the inner wilderness, the mental paths of people but also isolation and confinement.

“I use fairly dark colors as well as gray and metallic shades creating fogs that in some places are more compact and in others tend to fade. Darkness fights to disappear and various beams of light with fluo and neon colors penetrate the work and create bright universes that are tones of optimism. In essence, it is the darkness that turns into light “, notes Alexandra Marati.
