SMALL GROUP EXHIBITION
PAPATZIKOU gallery, completing a year of operation, celebrates and organizes a small group exhibition with paintings, engravings, sculptures, constructions, photography.
The successful presentation of important solo and group exhibitions marked the beginning of a continuous and fruitful presentation of works of art in the city of Veria. Believing that real art is one of the most important means of communication in the constantly evolving social developments, we try to honestly promote the work of Greek artists and not only. It goes without saying that a systematic, painstaking and conscientious effort for the good of art must precede it.
Our first exhibition was the group presentation of five artists, professors of the School of Fine Arts of Thessaloniki AUTh, Athens and Belgrade of M. Giannadakis, G. Katsangelou, G. Tsakiri, K. Triantafyllou and V. Kristic. The second, again as a group, with three well-known and remarkable artists of Thessaloniki, S. Zachariadis, G. Mavidis and A. Tsortanidis. The first solo exhibition was by the well-known professor of ASKT, Giannis Psychopedis in collaboration with the D.K. Library of Veria. However, because we believe that each place should utilize its local potential, we presented in our fourth exhibition three artists from Imathia, N. Bliatka, S. Bozini and M. Letsiou. At the end of the season in collaboration with the gallery of Thessaloniki ΄΄Lola Nikolaou΄΄ we presented seven artists, I. Duennebier, O. Zouni, Photo. Kariotaki, C. Kalfa, C. Bouroniko, D. Xonoglou, G. Tsakiri, E. Chrysidou.
This year we decided to open the season by presenting the work of four young artists, graduates of the School of Fine Arts of Thessaloniki V. Korakakis, N. Lolo, K. Pappas and Aim Serdakis since the gallery intends to give way to young artists. The second solo exhibition was by the artist-architect S. Skoulos. Finally, we showed in the first solo exhibition the work of the artist M. Hatzimouratis.

It is worth mentioning the publication of four catalogs – publications that enhance the action of the gallery, on the occasion of the presentation of the exhibitions ΄΄PAR-INCLUSIONS ΄΄ where Dr. writes. John. Kolokotronis Assistant Professor of Art History, DUTH Sq. Architects-Engineers, in ΝΑ SEARCHES ει writes the Art Historian and Head of the Field of Action Kodra of the P.O.D. Kalamaria Maria Vogiatzis, for S. Skoulos writes George Lazogas Professor of SKT. Thessaloniki of the Department of Architecture and finally for ΄΄TA BASEMENT΄΄ by M. Hatzimourati, writes Emmanuel Mavrommatis, Professor of Art History from 1985 to 2002 in the Department. Of Fine and Applied Arts of AUTh.
In this group exhibition we present the works of forty-four (44) artists, from different parts of Greece, older and younger artists with many years of activity in the visual arts, as well as young children, students of the Schools of Fine Arts, who present for the first time their work in showroom.

On the opening day, Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 12:30 for the celebration of the first birthday of the place, there will be a party with the participation of the ensemble Den Verroia΄΄ and Darlakosta Panagiotis, Prapa Giannis, Papaikonomou Manolis, Della Stergio and Karanasio Panagioti.
