PAPATZIKOU gallery presents the new work of Angelika Panagiotidou – Prapa entitled recreation.
Giannis Konstantinou notes:
(…) Angelika Panagiotidou – Prapa uses landscape to describe an ideal environment, a hidden place in which existence relaxes. In times of crisis, the need to reconsider our living conditions, our real needs, our inner desires and to find this special corner of the world that will contain us intensifies. This part of the world the painter wants to capture. The painter bases his work and specifically the landscape on the study of Romanticism, in which nature is presented as a spiritual state that mirrors, symbolizes and alludes. This is how landscapes with mysticism and allegories are constructed.
The result he seeks is the creation of a place / space of peace and security that allows the viewer to be left inside and to experience the experience that his image offers. What is required is not the illustration, it is the creation of a world that cares for you.
